What is AI chronology validation?
It is an RN review of an AI-generated medical timeline against the underlying chart. The review tests source support, sequence, clinical wording, and—when selected—whether significant events related to the defined case question were omitted.
A date can be correct while the conclusion attached to it is misleading. A medication may appear in the chart but occur after, rather than before, the deterioration. A single abnormal value may be presented as a sustained pattern. Chronology validation examines those relationships rather than treating every extracted entry as equally reliable.
